We are aware that you are placing your trust in us. This is why we see it as our responsibility to protect your privacy. In order to construct a proper framework for the services we offer, it is inevitable that we need to store some of your personal data. In this Privacy Declaration, we explain what data we collect while you are using our website and services, why we collect these data and what are your rights.
HofP respects the privacy of all users of its site and services, and we ensure that any personal data you provide to us is treated confidentially.

Automated decision making is not seen as a purpose
HofP does not use any automated processes to make decisions about matters that may have considerable consequences for individuals. We are referring here to decisions that are taken by computer programmes or systems without the intervention of a human being (e.g. a member of staff at HofP).
How long we store your (personal) data
HofP will retain your personal data for no longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data was collected. Retention period: at least for the period during which you are registered as a customer and no later than the moment when you explicitly submitted a change or removal request. We aim to attend to our former, current and potential customers in the most personal manner possible. This is why we believe it is important to provide them with relevant data about our services. Customised services are a crucial part of our business proposition.
Sharing personal data with third parties
HofP will not share your (personal) data with any third parties, unless this is necessary in order to carry out its agreement with you, and/or to comply with any legal obligations. We also enter into an agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf, in order to ensure an adequate level of security and reliability with regard to your (personal) data. HofP shall remain responsible for any such processing. Besides this, HofP will only supply your (personal) data to other third parties with your express permission. In some cases, your (personal) data may be shared internally. Our employees are under the obligation to ensure the full confidentiality of your data.
What are cookies?
We collect data for research purposes to gain more insight into the needs of our customers, so that we can tailor our services accordingly.
For this purpose, our website uses “cookies”. HofP solely uses technical, functional and analytical cookies that do not infringe upon your privacy. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone the first time that you visit a website.

To make sure the above-mentioned request has been submitted by you, we will ask you to include a copy of your identity document along with your request. When doing so, you should cover over or blacken out your passport photo, the machine-readable zone (the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport page), your passport number and (where applicable) your citizen service number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, and certainly within four weeks.

How we safeguard your personal data
