Internship sustainability team at Dutch multinational (32-40 hours/week, 6 months)

26/07/2021

You are a university student, passionate about sustainability, healtcare tech and gamification

You’re interested in how people learn and how to realize behavioural change (by means of gamification). You’re also analytical, meticulous, independent and have a hands-on mentality. Is this you? Then keep on reading!

One of the ways in which House of Performance realizes behavioural change and improves performance in the workplace is through the use of gamification. We are currently deploying gamification for our client, a Dutch multinational in healthcare technology, with the aim of internalizing the sustainability goals set by the organization and translating them into the daily work of employees.

On behalf of our client, we are looking for an intern for their sustainability team with a special focus on the above mentioned project.

What will you be doing?

You will be part of the Gamification project team, consisting of House of Performance consultants and our client. You will participate in the development, roll-out and support for our game, which aims to live through the sustainability goals and translate them into the daily work of employees. You will be working directly with the consultants from House of Performance and will be interacting with our game designers.

As part of the project team, you will perform the following tasks:

  • The (further) development of the game
  • Project management within ongoing processes, from start to finish (planning, preparation, stakeholder management, discussing progress based on data reports, etc.)
  • Providing support to game participants (answering questions about the game, ensuring a good onboarding)
  • Collecting player feedback and making choices for game improvement based on analyses
  • You will be able to adjust certain aspects directly on our game platform, where necessary

You will also be part of the customer’s sustainability team, which means that, besides working within the Gamification project team, you will also perform tasks for this team.

What will you bring into the project?

  • You’re currently following a university study
  • You’re at least a third-year or master student
  • You’re available 32-40 hours a week, for a minimum of 6 months (working hours in consultation)

  • You’re a good writer and master the Dutch and English languages excellently, both orally and in writing
  • You’re analytical, meticulous, independent and have a hands-on mentality
  • You possess PowerPoint and Excel skills

What will you get out of it?

  • The opportunity to gain experience at a large multinational company
  • An internship allowance
  • A travel allowance
  • A laptop computer
